ANY MEMBER CAUGHT LEAVING THE GATE UNLOCKED WILL FACE DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS.

There is good pedestrian access around the area of the lake that you are permitted to fish. The lake is situated in peaceful surroundings, with plenty of wild life in the area. The Club controls access to about two thirds of the lake, with the remainder being unfished. The water has plenty of interesting features, the deepest point is on the east bank but the lake has lots of gravel bars, islands and parts are quite shallow but this is a water that has huge potential and is not overfished. A water to get to know.

The Lake contains tench, bream, roach, perch and pike. It also holds a small population of carp. During the Summer months the lake can produce some wonderful catches of tench, many fish are in the 5-7 lb range. In Winter the lake can give some sport with the pike.
